Cheap and Unique Birthday Party Venue or Location Ideas

The Price is Cheap
Birthday parties can get very expensive. Whether your guest of honor is turning six or 60, you’ll need a place to hold the people and the party.
Where you decide to have the party can either make or break your budget. Try to find alternatives to the pricey locations that first come to mind.
Here are a few ideas to get you started. Be sure to keep an open mind, it'll help you be able to find something that most people would have never even thought of!
Your Home or Someone Else's
Consider hosting the party at home. It’s going to always be the cheapest of any location because you don’t have to pay to rent it out and you control the food.
If hosting at your home isn’t an option because of space, ask a friend or relative who has a bigger place if you can host it there.
That’s fun for surprise parties because the guest of honor will never expect that you’re going to a friend’s for his party. Don't forget to bring some fun birthday gifts to keep the party going!
Frugal? Make Your Own Party Hats
Public Park or Venue
Children are happiest when they have their friends around. So instead of worrying that you have to host the party somewhere expensive, consider that a park or other public space may be just as fun. Is there a walking trail with a picnic site or an outdoor attraction that’s open to the public? You can set up a picnic birthday party very cheaply. Bring in sandwiches, drinks, and chips along with birthday cookies or a cake and you’ll find you have an instant party. Another benefit to this type of location is that you don’t have to worry about space limitations. The moms and dads can stay for their child’s party if they want and there’s always plenty of parking. Plus you don’t have to clean your house before and after the party.

Museum or Cultural Location
Museums and other cultural locations offer free use of rooms most times.
If you have a nature conservancy or cultural club, they will usually have a room you can use either for a nominal fee or for free.
You can also request a talk with one of the staff and an animal from the nature preserve as part of the fun.
Golf or Pool Party
You may feel like you have to go big if it’s an adult’s birthday party.
But instead of everyone eating out at a pricey restaurant where you have to foot the bill, why not all go for a round of golf or to a friend’s house with a pool?
If someone is willing to offer their house, accept. And don’t feel like you have to go big with the food.
Bring in appetizers, drinks, some sort of main fare like burgers or pizza and the cake.
Skip the "All-Inclusive"
For kids’ parties, limit your spending by not buying birthday party packages.
Some of the most used party venues like Chuck E. Cheese will charge high prices for an all-inclusive party. If you figure it out, you could do the whole party yourself much cheaper.
So why not plan to have cake at home, opening your kids birthday gifts and then head to Chuck E. Cheese just so guests can play the games? It will cost much less that way and parents can pick their kid up there.
Focus on Fun not Fares
Birthday parties are made by the guests, not the decorations or location. Invite close friends and family and just have fun no matter where you are.
Kids don’t care about the little things like expensive favors. They just want to have a good time.

Hi, these are great ideas, in my town there is a big hall that can be hired, if all the parents chipped in with the hire money, it would really be cheap as well. I love the pool party, and at the end of the day, kids just like to have fun, no need to spend lots of money, rated up! cheers nell
P.S, I would love to know how to add those dividers, still can't figure it out! lol
